Catka fired a rag at Kade. "Such a bad pun," she muttered, rolling her eyes.
His shoulders went up in a shrug, a huge grin spreading across the youth's face. "Perhaps."
She gestured for him to follow as her hand twisted the door knob of the small shop. "Let's get going... It's late. And I told Jun I'd go home with him tonight."
Kade obediently hopped off the cluttered counter stained with oils and greases and was over the threshold in moments, turning to wait for Catka who was pulling the key from the locked door. His face was anxious as the lock was turned.
She caught this and laughed softly, tugging on his wrist, "C'mon. Your car will be safe, I promise."
His face lightened a bit as he let her drag him away. "Yeah, I knowww. I just... need to be reminded sometimes."
She rolled her eyes, staring up at him and his big, dumb, goofy grin... That she couldn't help but adore. He came to a stop, pulling her to his side to study the fading sunlight.
"Beautiful, huh?"
He nodded, now looking at her with the eyes of a secret admirer. She caught on, elbowed him in the ribs and turned on heel toward the resturaunt. "No pullin' any shit tonight, mm'kay?"
He padded after her, laughing. "Ohh?"
"Oh. Jun's just moved in and I think I may be considering a thing or two."
She caught a mocking gasp coming from him. "Waitwait. Catka's... getting serious? What is this?!"
Another elbow to the ribcage. "Yeah, yeah. Let's go. I don't want to make him wait."
He rubbed the twice assulted ribs and caught up again as the two walked the way in silence. However, Kade took a left one block earlier than her. So. When this block came, she turned with a smile, "Well. See you tomor--"
Kade grabbed her arm, dragged her back and caught her lips on his, holding her tight.
Now. Her first reaction was to pull away, but the ritual had become so habitual (Ew that rhymes... Katie, help me with the wording? xD;; ) that she left it go with the knowledge that it meant nothing. Because it didn't. The two were like siblings and the small show of affection was for fun on their part. Just to have their own little secret from the rest of the world... Like little kids.
Finally, though, she slowly pushed him away. "I'll see ya tomorrow, babe," she said softly. And with that, she turned, but paused as his fingers gently caught the tips of the blue-dyed hair. "I'm racing tomorrow... You comin'?" he asked, carefully pulling his hand through her hair.
She smiled, with a nod as her own fingers detangled the hair from his. "Of course. 'Night."
Well. Whatever time Jun got out, she was sure it'd passed. With one small smile and a wave, she quickened her pace and took off under the darkening sky. Lights began to flicker on throughout the streets of the Industrial City signifying that twilight was leaving and nightfall had officially arrived.
Much better than Drea's Recreational City, though quite the host of parties, she mused silently, shoving her hands in the pockets of the mechanic's outfit. Her head poked in to find the sweet smell of spices... Always reminded her of Jun. Who wassss... proving elusive to her eyes.

Jun wiped his sweat-laden brow. These people were so picky. But, as he looked up through the windows, he could see Catka comeing over. He ran back through the kitchen, throwing off his waitor's apron. He could change into normal clothes at home. Jun then proceeded to rush out to her, grabbing her up in his arms. "My Angel!" he exclaimed to her, "My Savior! Let me be free of this place!" Then he put her down. "Okay. I'm done now."

She laughed. "Drama Queen...." she muttered. But, nevertheless, she continued to play on. "Come! Let us go forth into the darkness" - nothing dirty intended - "and liberate my love of this place!" She paused with a frown for a moment, looking thoughtful. "Sadly, however, nothing can be done without payment. A kiss for my troubles!" she demanded, grinning whilst her feet elevated her to the tip toes.

So Jun caught her up and twirled her around some. "So, Missy, what is this so called 'darkness?'"

"A wonderful place of happiness and pleasure... If one so chooses, of course. I could gladly show you if you'd like," she teased, wrapping an arm around his slender frame. The scent that came from him differed slightly from the rest of the quiet building. It drove her crazy; undeniably, tremendously - and perhaps a little too attractive for his own good - downright seductive.
"C'mon. Let's go home," she said, tugging on his arm. "I'm sick of this city."

He led them back to their home. "Welcome to my bungalow!" he announced - incorrectly, by the way. "Lead me away, oh Catka."

"Ahah - please. You've still some time before you're worthy of my bedding. However... you seem to be just worthy enough for a kiss." Translated: you're not getting any tonight, but I still love you. Here's a kiss.
She planted a quick peck on his cheek. "... Or five." And four more kisses followed to match the said amount before she let go and wandered to the kitchen. "Did you eat anything yet?"

"Are you kidding? I live, breathe and eat food at work. And I have that stupid confrence in the morning... " He leaned over to hug her tight. "I think I need to crash. Alright by you?"

"Yup. I'll be there in a moment, 'kay?" she replied, pausing to return the quick embrace. "Seesee, while you eat food, I eat... oil...?" She frowned at the poor explaination, shaking her head. "Whatever. In any case, I"m starving. Meet you there, then?" Catka opened the small fridge and pulled out random foods randing from celery to mozzarella cheese. Nothing was to be called a product of these foods, but they all just sounded so good... Perhaps she'd start eating during work now... {{Well. We have a dark start drawn here, buuuut. Unfortunately, there's no such thing on the keyboard... I'll improvise at some point. x3 EDIT: So. As promised, improv }} Catka groaned. She didn't want to get up yet... But she knew Kade would be faithfully waiting by the shop's door. Oh, which reminded her.... She rolled to face Jun, studying his face for a moment before gently shaking him. "Jun? Hey, I've a question for you..."

"Huh? Catka, it was such a good dream... why'd you wake me?" But he rolled over playfully to face her better. "What's up?"

"Kade's havin' a race tonight... I told him that I'd come and I just wanted to know if you could, too," she replied, following up with a yawn. Too earlyyyy. "Unless... you can't get off of work or something."
