Set in the mainframe of the later 1860's our story begins in a lesser noble house; the house of a certain Mr. Henry Palmer. Now, Mr. Palmer was a kind fellow, of a stout seven and thirty years. He had a charming, subdued wife, Mrs. Abgail Plamer, with whom he found himself very much in love. And the Mr. and Mrs. had a family to which to attend. The beautiful Victorian white house sat neatly on a nice long lane; Cherrium Lane to be exact. And it was filled to the brim with the young Palmer family. The eldest, much to Mr. Palmer's glee, had be a boy. A strapping young gent by the name of Peter, he was his father's pride, yet he hadn't yet found a decent wife. Next down in line was the beautiful Marie. Now married to the decent William Bradstof, she was a lovable character with all the gossip, news, and the kindest voice. Katherin, or Kitty, was next down, with her soft blonde hair and more of an eye for the gentlemen then for her studies. Although she ws not a thin thing, she was gorgeous, and her answers were always best, within reason of course. Mannifred, more commonly Manny, was next down. He had his brother's energy, yet no use for it. When asked to, he could run for miles. And yet somehow he always managed to slip inside for his reading instead. The second youngest was Dearie, a soft-spoken girl with much her brother's same interest in books. Although not the prettiest angel, she had a deep thought always looked up tight in her eyes. Beth came in last, young (still but 16) and untolerable. She was crazy, always running about, but she was dear friends with Dearie and Manny, and had many friends (both boys and girls) in and out of the Palmer house.

ooc; sorry it took so long to type out. I had to come up with names and ideas of each. And the further down they go, the less descriptive is each.

ooc; I'm taking matters into my own hands, in hoping this will ride well with you.
ic; Off the sweet Cherrium Lane came the short Detrium Road, which crossed sections with Olan Lane. The Palmer's (or more acurately Henry Palmer's younger brother Ryhan Palmer) small house sat upon this lane, with two lovely oaks perched as a frame to the picture. Now, Ryhan was married to lovely Laurel, and had four children of their own. Kyle was the strong one, the oldest, and had not yet left the house. Jon was next under, handsome, daring, and out on his own, often visiting home. Sissy was the only girl, and certainly not so papmered at that. And good old Reed was the youngest, even at twenty years. The family often visited thei rgood cousins over on Cherium Lane, and loved to be kept up on worldly matters.

ooc; tis fine with me.
ic; So one lovely Friday Dearie was off with Kitty and Beth to visit their good cousin Palmers. And although the distance barely stretched a mile, a light, scattered rain pitter-pattered overhead, and so the three young ladies took their coach. In mere minutes, their destination reached, the stepped lightly out and walked lightly up to the door.

At the sound of the carriage coming on its way, Sissy rushed forwards. She flung open the front door, despite the rain, and saw her cousins making their way over. "Dearie! Kitty! Beth!" she exclaimed, "What are you three doing here? I have just been waiting the arrival of Jon. He said he would be by today, and bring some gentlemen along with him as well." She looked them top to bottom. "Well, please, do hurry on it! You really cannot get stranded out there, all wet and the like..." she tuttered.
occ; now, the true question: do women truly tutter?

ooc; Of course they can, you silly goose! Tuttering is what European ladies of the 1800s did best! xD
ic; Kitty let out a soft sound of glee and pranced forward while Beth followed behind. Dearie, however, remembered her good mannerisms, and held up a thin hand. "So, are we well enough to keep company here, Sissy?" The two other girls suddenly became down trodden at the thought.

ooc; Well, I sure as truth have never known such a fact to be true!
ic; Sissy tittered back. "Oh, you silly gooslings! Of course you're good enough, don't have a fit! Come, come, into the drawing room with Reed and Father. They'll be overjoyed to see you, though I dare say the cook shall not..." She shook her head and led them over. "Father, we have company," Sissy said mysteriously, and Reed, ever enthusiastic, lept up. "HAs Jon come!?" he asked.

Beth rushed in, her laughter pealing through the house. "No, good Reed! Tis only us, and our company here. But we have heard that Jon comes home today? And with guests?"

Mr. Palmer now stood to greet his nieces. "Yes yes, so he has informed us. And plenty of them, from the sound of it." Kyle, too, rose. "Hello girls, but I"m off. I must go off to check on the market today. I have a bet going with Mr. Tithers." And without much more to say, he was off and out. Reed rolled his eyes and Sissy only laughed. "He wishes to make a grand entrance for any ladies who might be accompanying dear Jon today," she said.

Kitty laughed. "So like Kyle. But of course, we can't let the man have his fun ruined, now can we?" Dearie shook her head. "So," Beth pressed, "when are they due to arrive. Now that the word is out, why, I can hardly keep myself straight enough to wait!" And even though Dearie poked her in the side, all three of the girls laughed; a chorused agreement.
ooc; okay, what they're trying to say is "Oh, well, why, perhaps, just maybe, Mr. Jon should arrive. DOnt' you agree, Mr. Burgendy???" xDD Or, maybe something like that.

ooc; Well, that's such a shame, since they could never even hear a reply, no?
ic; Mr. Palmer chuckled just as one of the maids stepped in. "Mr. Palmer, your son has arrived," she grandly announced, and Sissy was instantly out of her chair, greeting her brother with a kiss to his cheek. "Jon!" she exclaimed, "O Jon you're back! Now, introductions, introductions!" Jon laughed and turned to let his friends make their way in. And the introductions were started. "Everyone," he announced, "Listen up!" The first was a rather tall man with short dark hair and light green eyes. A good gent, he was a god frined of Jon's, apparently a neighbor who worked with him. His name was Mr. Tad Hurom. Next down was another man, even older than Mr. Hurom, who also lived in the near vicinity. Apparently Mr. Nathan Kopfman was a traveler from Germany who like England a bit too much. A lady friend was next, Ms. Hale Yorker with her brother Mathew Yorker. Both were of quite a higher noble class, but they seemed likable enough with plenty to talk about. Near the end came a lovely Miss Cale Rever, someone he had known when he was younger and met again. And last but not least where the two Sendry men. Mr. Terry and Mr. Ben Sendry were very interesting, having work in history and research. Once all the guest were introduced, Jon said, "And here are my father and my sister, Sissy."

ooc; Whatever. Oh, and btw, You forgot the first Palmer girls.
ic;Dearie, simply, was shocked. "Well, dear Gentleman Jon, are we merely will-o-the-wisps?" Even Kitty, who was looking over each guest, was hurt.

ooc; I was wondering what you would do. Not much, obviously, with such a situation at hand.
ic; Jon, suddenly, noticed his cousins. "Oh, dear! I didn't see you three back there!" he said, then turned to his guests. "Everybody, these are my three lovely cousins Kitty, Dearie, and Beth Palmer, in order of birth."

ooc; duh, who would?
ic; Each curtsied in turn, and felt many stares upon them, taking each girl and comprimising them. "It is a pleasure to meet you all," Dearie finally said, in hopes of starting up conversation.
ooc; okay, you've got to do more, unless there are some of them I could play?

ooc; No, they are mine. -hiss- You can create your own later if you'd like. For right now, they are mine to conduct as I shall see fit.
ic; Then members broke off, each going about to different rooms to converse. ((I"ll let you choose who is in which room you travel to)) Sissy sat down with Mr. Palmer and the charming Nathan Kopfman. Jon walked about, talking to anyone and everyone, before settling down with Mr. Hurom and Ms. Yorker in the living room.
