Well.. I think I'm starting to feel that bond with my charrie finally... I <3 Sammael Definitely my fav so far, so I wanna write a story bout him... so... yes. I don't even know where he's gonna be yet >.< Will update. Update: I'm just gonna put him in a normallish city, sort of like the one he was in before, but very few people know about demons. Should increase the drama, me hopes. Hopefully I'll also be able to add some more powers to his repertoire.

I peered through the window of the shop. Weapons adorned the walls like trophies; polished, but useless. But yet I could feel something coming from inside, some source of power. Probably demonic. The owner probably didn't even know the kind of power whatever it was possessed. It better be an actual weapon... the last thing I found with demonic power was... less the useful.
"I still can't believe anyone, especially a demon would do that. I mean, seriously. Who stores all of their knowledge inside a Rubik's Cube?" said TwilightMyst sullenly.
Whatever... I'm sure there are stupider things out there that possess demonic power. Hopefully this isn't one of them, I thought to myself.
"Indeed. So are you gonna go in or not?"
The door swung open without a creak. Surprising, I thought. He must really care about his store and goods. I thought about this for a second, then shook off a shiver. Let's just hope he isn't one of those crazy sword nuts. Or worse. However, he didn't appear to be at the counter at the moment, so I took to walking the aisles while I waited.
I gazed at the massive amount of weapons with a cold eye. Useless, for my purposes. I continued to try and find the one with the power emanating from it. The store was a lot bigger on the inside then it had first appeared, and I spent a long time letting my eyes pass over each individual weapon, testing them mentally. It didn't appear to be here. The weapon must be stored away somewhere...
Suddenly, a crash came from behind the counter and through a flurry of dust and rubble charged a large man. He wielded what looked like an elongated revolver and pointed it straight at me. Throughout the whole ordeal I didn't even flinch. I had become used to surprises.
The man was probably about 6'2 with an enormous build. His biceps were almost as big as my head. He had gone through the wall like it was paper, and a huge whole in the wall was still there in the general shape of the man.
I stood silently for a second, staring at him, then said, "Hum. You must be the owner."
The man's eyes opened slightly, but his grip on the gun did not let up, nor did he waver even slightly in his aim. He was obviously used to handling weaponry like this. A dull throb started pressing on my left temple. I pushed the pain to the side and continued to stare at the man.
"Get... the hell... out of my store. NOW." The man said between gritted teeth. He continued to hold the gun pointed right at my head.
In fact... he was pointing it right at my throbbing temple. I looked down the barrel of the gun and saw nothing but blackness. And pain shot throughout my whole body. Not enough to make me crumble, but certainly enough to make me flinch. Visibly.
"Hey! None of that. Just get out of my store now, and I won't ahve to hurt you, demon." The man said fairly calmly.
Suddenly, TwilightMyst said, "That's it. That's the source of the demonic power... the gun."
"Demon?" I said, addressing the man. I didn't address TM because I often found myself talking to him out loud instead of inside my head. Made for some very awkward situations. "Who, you mean me?"
"I'm not talking to you, demon. Just leave now, and never come back." He said with determination.
I could almost see TM roll his eyes. "Just kill him and take the damn thing."
Fine, I thought. But I'm not going to make him suffer. It's not right.
"But it is fun," TwilightMyst said.
I let out a sigh, and moved faster than the human eye could possibly see. The man instantly tensed up, but he barely was able to take in a breath before I was behind him with a claw on his Jugular vein. "Nice to meet you. I wish we could have had more time to chat, but I'm afraid you have something I want. Sorry about this." And with that I slit his jugular, as well as crushing his trachea. The man fell to the floor, squirming, unable to scream. I turned around and walked to a corner of the store, letting the man pass on in peace.
"Wuss." TM said. "Back when I had a body, I relished in the kill. That was best part. It was like climaxing with the woman you love more than anyone else in the world. It was so sweet. I would absorb the person's soul until it filled me up and I felt like I had lived their whole life."
Yeah, well I'm not you, I thought. Dead people are disgusting. And I would prefer to stay away from their souls... that's their private business.
"Say that as much as you want, you were the one that made him disgusting. And you're still going to have to go over there and get that gun anyways."
Whatever... I thought. I walked over to the corpse. A pool of blood spread out across the floor in a wide circle. The dead man's eyes were wide open, his hands clutched around his throat. He had left this world in a position quite similar to the one in which he entered it. The gun was still in the dead man's hand. I reached down and pried the man's hands off of it and hefted the sizable revolver up.
It was much more exquisite than he had first thought. The barrel and handle were polished, so much so that the dim light seemed to be magnified by the silver. Strange etchings ran all the way from the top of the handle to the end of the barrel. I tried to follow the intertwining lines down the barrel, but gave up. They seemed to be almost... moving.
One thing I hadn't noticed before when the man was using it was a chain hanging off the end of the handle. At the end of the chain dangled a trinket in the form of a bird, and it was completely black. It had it's wings spread, and two large glowing eyes seemed to pierce right through me. It's claws seemed to almost stick out, but when I felt it, it was completely smooth.
A fine piece of work, I thought to myself.
"What are you gonna call it?" TwilightMyst said.
I looked at the Black bird at the bottom again. Night Hawk. I don't know why, but that's it's name. It can be nothing else.
"Well then... Night Hawk it is."
